| Sequoyah Regional Libraries own valuable collections of literature for youth of all ages. We strive to purchase and house a balanced collection that will be of interest to everyone in our community. We proudly serve Cherokee, Gilmer and Pickens County Schools' students and their families and are eager to meet their needs. However, not every book in our collection is on your child's Accelerated Reader list, nor is every book chosen by the schools in our collection. All Libraries do have computers upon which you may access the most current ARlists available online. Whether your selection is for pleasure or AR credit, your public libraries strive to provide you with superb choices.

When QuizList is unavailable, you may also search your Cherokee County School media center's catalog. The search results will tell you the AR book level and amount of points the test will earn. Finding Accelerated Reader books at Sequoyah Regional Libraries:
1. You will need your child's Accelerated Reader List, whether you search live online or have a printed copy.
2. If you do not have a printed list, open two windows or tabs in your web browser. One window should be your child's Quizlist (see links below) and the other window will be SRLS online catalog (link here). Window 1 - Search Quizlist for books on your child's reading level.
3. Window 2 - Search our Online Catalog by title. Search results will tell you if we own the book, which library owns the book, if it is available and where on the shelf you may find it. Note –This search is most productive if you limit your search to the library you plan to visit.
4. When creating a list to use at the library, record the title and call letter or numbers (i.e. E CAS or J 796.35). SRLS books do not bear AR labels.
Remember, if a title you want is checked-out, you may place books on hold online with a pin number or at the library when you check-out. The Library's reference department can also request books from another library to be sent to your library of choice.
