The theme for National Library Week 2022, taking place on April 3-9, is “Connect with Your Library”, which shines a spotlight on library tech and the role that libraries play in bridging the technology gap for users. It also highlights the need for communities to connect with ideas and opportunities to explore, learn, and create, which we at Sequoyah Regional Library System have (quite literally) declared to be our mission. In celebration of National Library Week, SRLS is hosting one Library Meet-&-Greet event and one technology-themed program at each of our seven locations during the month of April to encourage everyone in the community to connect with their library. Drop in, enjoy activities, play with library tech, and learn about everything your public library has to offer, all for free!

Have you been putting off visiting your library because of fines? Sequoyah Regional Library System is offering a fine forgiveness program in honor of National Library Week (April 3-9). While you’re attending your Library Meet-&-Greet, speak with a library staff member to be forgiven up to $15 in overdue fines per library card. For more information, click here.
