  • Computers & Printers | Sequoyah Regional

    Computers & Printers Computers: All Sequoyah Regional Library locations have computers for public use. All public computers have Internet access and a office suite of programs installed. Wireless Access Free wi-fi access is available at all locations. It is available 24 hours a day and can be accessed from the parking lot or inside the library. Printing: You can print your documents at the library using one of our public computers, or from your own device. Black-and-white prints cost $0.15 per printed side. Color prints cost $0.75 per printed side. Print From Anywhere Online Printing (Printing from Home or Your Own Device) SmartAlec allows you to upload documents from your own device for printing on any SRLS printer. From a web browser: visit https://smartalecplus.smartalecprint.com/?ID=SequoyahGA From a mobile device: download the SmartALEC App from Google Play or the Apple Store Log in using your library card number and PIN (If you do not have a library card, you can log in as a Guest User.) and upload your documents. Visit a Print Release station at any SRLS location and sign in using your library card number and PIN. Copy and Scanning Service Black-and-white prints cost $0.15 per printed side. Color prints cost $0.75 per printed side. Scanning is available at all locations. About SAM ( Smart access Manager ) SRLS uses a computer management system called “SAM” (Smart Access Manager™) that allows all computer users access time at each location. Using your Library card number and PIN (Personal Identification Number), SAM keeps track of the amount of time each user is on the computer, and limits users to three (3) total hours of use per day systemwide. Activate Your Card For Computer Use and Printing Log in to a public computer at any SRLS branch using your Library card number and PIN. (This is the same PIN you use to log in to the SRLS catalog.) Forgot your PIN? Visit a Service Desk and a library staff can help you. Out-of-town visitors should see library staff for a 24-hour Visitor’s pass.

    Support Your Library Community support allows us to thrive. Here are ways you can help. Material Donations SRLS accepts material donations, up to 10 items, based on the following guidelines: Books (hardcover, paperback, trade, board, large print) published 2020 or later Audiobooks published 2020 or later DVDs and Blu-rays (no date limit) Games/Puzzles High demand/popular/best selling series and authors (any publication date) Examples: Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dork Diaries Agatha Raisin mysteries Debbie Macomber We do not accept the following: Magazines VHS tapes Audio Cassettes Encyclopedias Textbooks Any item in poor condition or that has writing, personal inscriptions, strong odors, or stains. Patrons wishing to donate more than 10 items and up to 5 boxes or items that do not meet donation guidelines have the following options: The Better World Books drop box in the R.T. Jones parking lot. The Woodstock Public Library, Pickens County Library, and Gilmer County Library will accept large donations on Tuesdays or Thursdays, 11am-5pm. Financial Gifts Financial gifts support our collection, programs and other library services. By making a gift, your money will be used for the greatest need of SRLS, unless otherwise directed. Financial gifts can be made online, via mail or in-person. To gift via mail or in person, please complete the Financial Donation Form (upload form) and mail or drop it off donation to one of our locations. Financial Donation Form Kroger Rewards Information Questions? Kroger Community Rewards Any transactions using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. Kroger donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating Kroger Community Rewards organizations. The program is simple. If you shop at Kroger, you probably have a Kroger Plus card. When you register your Kroger Plus Card online, you can then select Sequoyah Regional Library as the organization of your choice. The SRLS Community rewards Account number is MW313. Partners SRLS is always excited to form new partnerships with businesses to support our community. Organizations and businesses can support the library through grants, in-kind services, materials donations, and by volunteering to offer free programs for the public at the library. Friends Of The Library Anchor FOL Each of our counties has a Friends group in operation. These groups are made up of volunteers who organize themselves independently to support our libraries. What does a Friends group do? Advocate for the libraries and library services, spreading the word about libraries and lifelong learning. Raise and contribute funds for supplemental books, materials, equipment and library programs. Volunteer to help with special library events, collaborative community efforts and reading programs for children and adults.     Tax Information Sequoyah Regional Library System provides limited quantities of federal tax forms as a public service. Georgia tax forms are available online, and copies of some forms can be printed at the library. A small fee is charged for printer usage. Availability of certain tax forms is not guaranteed.   • 3D Printing | Sequoyah Regional

    3D Printing Please review the 3D Printer Policy and Guidelines for Use before submitting a request. Policy: 3D Printers are available to the public to make three-dimensional objects in plastic using a design that is uploaded from a digital computer file. The Library reserves the right to refuse any 3D print request. The Library’s 3D printers may be used only for lawful purposes. The public will not be permitted to use the Library’s 3D printers to create material that is: Prohibited by local, state or federal law. Unsafe, harmful, dangerous or poses an immediate threat to the well-being of others. (Such use may violate the terms of use of the manufacturer.) Obscene or otherwise inappropriate for the Library environment. In violation of another’s intellectual property rights. For example, the printers will not be used to reproduce material that is subject to copyright, patent or trademark protection. Users must complete a 3D Print Request Form before their print job is accepted. Print jobs must be under three hours, unless approved by library administration. Only Library staff or patrons with a completed user waiver will have hands-on access to the 3D printers. Cost per gram is posted prominently near the machines and is established by the County Library Board of Trustees which may change the fee at any time by action of the Board of Trustees. Guidelines for Use (Library Staff Led 3D Print Request): Complete a 3D Print Request Form before print job is started. Print jobs more than 3 hours may not be available for immediate print. Cost of printing will be 15 cents per gram minimum charge of $3.00 per each print job. You will be notified when your print job is complete. Items printed will be picked up within 7 days during regularly scheduled library hours, after which they will become property of the Library. Items must be picked up by the individual who requested the print job. Print time will be scheduled by library staff. PLEASE NOTE : A “complete” print job does not always mean “successful.” The library will still notify you of completion even if it does not come out perfectly. Reprints will only be available in the event of machine malfunction. Failed prints due to errors within the 3D model (print file submitted) will still be charged for materials used. All print jobs are pending until approved by library staff. Guidelines for Use (Patron Led 3D Printer Reservation Request): Complete a 3D Print Request Form before the print job is started. 3D Printer Reservations are available to library cardholders ages 18 and older. Print jobs must start and end during library operating hours and take no more than 3 hours to complete. You can estimate the print duration for your 3D object using Cura Lulzbot , this 3D printing calculator , or comparing your 3D object to one of our samples shown later in this form. 3D printer users must remain on the library premises until the completion of their 3D print. Cost of printing will be 15 cents per gram minimum charge of $3.00 per print job. 3D printer filament will be provided by the library. Print time will be scheduled by library staff based on your request. Please wait to receive a confirmation of your reservation before coming to the library to print. PLEASE NOTE: A “complete” print job does not always mean “successful.” Reprints will only be available in the event of machine malfunction.
