Available for check out at all SRLS locations, Disc Golf sets include: a putter disc, a midrange disc, a driver disc, and a bag for carrying them. Each disc golf set also includes a brochure with more information regarding how and where to play. The Library of Things is a collection of non-traditional library items that complement the Sequoyah Regional Library System’s mission to connect people with ideas and opportunities to explore, learn and create. The purpose of the Library of Things is to provide diverse opportunities for learning and engagement. Board of Trustees The Sequoyah Regional Library System is governed by the Regional Library Board of Trustees, composed of nine members from the local county boards. Appointments to the Regional Board includes five members from the Cherokee Board, two members from the Pickens Board and two members from the Gilmer Board. The Regional Board is responsible for overseeing the establishment, management, and maintenance of public libraries in the counties of Cherokee, Pickens and Gilmer. Tax Information Sequoyah Regional Library System provides limited quantities of federal tax forms as a public service. Georgia tax forms are available online, and copies of some forms can be printed at the library. A small fee is charged for printer usage. Availability of certain tax forms is not guaranteed. Join Our Team! Youth Services Associate – Woodstock Public Library About the Role This position supports library services for youth of all ages by working closely with the Youth Services Specialist. Duties include information assistance, collection services and programming assistance. This position interacts directly with the public to provide quality customer service. This position ensures correct shelving of materials, repairs/discards damaged books, processes new books, weeds collection as directed, and assists with youth programs as needed. This customer-focused position anticipates and meets the needs of users in the most visible way and provides circulation assistance. Closing Date: 1/30/2025 Start Date & Location: March 3, 2025 / Woodstock Public Library, 7735 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188 Salary & Benefits: $28,662.48 Annually, Paid Annual Leave, Sick Leave & Holidays.
